International Classical Music Awards

Mitt musikintresse har de senaste åren alltmer riktat sig mot vår tids konstmusik. Min internationella databas har en av sina blinda fläckar på detta område (se närmare i  internationell_konstmusik.html).

För att få in mer nutida musik i min internationella databas och förhoppningsvis få höra styckena har jag infört en kategori kallad "nominerade" verk. Ett nominerat verk har erhållit ett pris, rekommenderats i en tävling etc.

International Classical Music Awards (ICMA) är ett av de priser som tar vi när Cannes Classical Awards och MIDEM classical awards upphör. Priserna väljs av jurymedlemmar från Crescendo (Belgien), Fono Forum (Tyskland), Gramofon (Ungern), MDR-FIGARO (Tyskland), Musica (Italien), Musik & Theater (Schweiz), Pizzicato (Luxemburg), Scherzo (Spanien), IMZ (Österrike), Musica (Italien), Orpheus Radio (Ryssland), Resmusica.com (Frankrike) och Viva Classica (Finland)..

Här listar jag alla prisvinnare från kategorin Contemporary samt prisvinnande tonsättare födda 1920 eller senare från de andra kategorierna. I min databas införs bara icke-vokala verk. Här redovisar jag alla verk som funnits med på de aktuella skivorna, även vokala och av äldre tonsättare.

Förkortningarna intill årtalen nedan står för komponerad (k), premiär/publicerad (p), senast (z), eventuellt (ev).

To get more contemporary pieces into the database, and some day hopefully get a chance to hear them, I've created a special category called "nominated". A nominated piece has won a composition competition or a recording has won an award.

International Classical Music Awards (ICMA) is one of the prices that continue where the Cannes Classical Awards and MIDEM Classical Awards left off. The awards are selected by jury members from Crescendo (Belgium), Fono Forum (Germany), Gramofon (Hungary), MDR-Figaro (Germany), Musik & Theater (Switzerland), Orpheus Radio (Russia), Pizzicato (Luxembourg), Resmusica.com (France), Scherzo (Spain) and Viva Classica (Finland).

I include non-vocal pieces into my database if they are written by composers born 1920 or later. Non-vocal pieces by the winner of the Contemporary Award gets included even if born earlier.
In this list I also include vocal pieces and pieces by older composers that is on the listed records.

The letters in front of or behind the piece's year means composed (k), published or first performed (p), latest (z), eventually (ev).
